JAMMU, Nov 21: V Badrinath Educational Trust run institutions viz DBN Vidya Mandir Amarvilla, DBN Vidya Mandir Mubarak Mandi and Susheela Narendrajit Singh Camp Road-Talab Tillo celebrated their Annual Day in the Zorawar Singh Auditorium Jammu University, today.
Retd. Lt Gen N S Malik PVSM was the Chief Guest. The chairman V Badrinath Educational Trust Virendrajit Singh presiding over the function. The function was based on the theme of Swach Bharat Swasth Bharat. The students presented colourful programmes on the occasion.
The function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp. Vandana was presented in the form of the prayer. A dance drama reflecting the growth of India from a colony of British Empire to Independent State and powerful country were the main attractions of the function. The students through this bella gave the message of making India a strong and clean nation. Display of marshal arts, yoga and cultural items by tiny tots were other attractions of the function. Earlier the chief guest was presented a guard of honour by the NCC Boys and Girls contingents and march past squad.
Welcoming the guest Manager Trust Rajendra Kakkar presented a brief history of the institutions. The chairman Virendrajit Singh explored the aims and future programmes of the educational trust.
The chief guest was highly appreciative of the programme and expressed hope that trust will continue imparting quality education and building overall personality of the students to make them better citizens.
