DBA releases two Dogri books

JAMMU, Oct 25: Dogri Bhasha Academy released two books entitled ‘Sheesha’ collection of poetry written by Rohan Bral Roshan and ‘Dogri Kosh Vigyan’ written by Mrs Ganga Sharma, of Roshan Bral Roshan here at K L Saigal Hall in an impressive function.
The function was presided over by the eminent Dogri writer Prof Lalit Magotra. Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest while ex-MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia was the special guest.  Prof Champa Sharma and ex HoD Dogri Department Prof Veena Gupta were guests of honour.
Earlier Yashpaul Nirmal, general secretary Dogri Bhasha Academy welcomed the dignitaries, guests, writers and audience. In his welcome address Yashpaul Nirmal said that Dogri Bhasha Academy is providing platform to the established and also to the budding writers of Dogri as well as of other languages of the State. Dogri Bhasha Academy is working for the promotion of Dogra Art, Culture and Literature with a mission.
After the welcome address two Books entitled Sheesha and Dogri Kosh Vigyan were released.
Three research based critical papers presented by Dr Chanchal Bhasin, Joginder Pal Jinder and Vicky Sharma which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Roshan Bral Roshan in his speech threw light on the process of his writing and thanked all those who helped him in writtng. Mrs Ganga Sharma in her address threw light on her book Dogri Kosh Vigyan and thanked the Nidhi Publication, Jammu for publishing her Book.
Chief guest Sham Lal Sharma, special guest Balwant Singh Mankotia and guests of Honour Prof Champa Sharma and Prof Veena Gupta in their address blessed and congratulated to Roshan Bral Roshan, Mrs Ganga Sharma and also to the Dogri Bhasha Academy for the release of Books and prays for their better future.
Prof Lalit Magotra in his presidential address appreciated the cause of Dogri Bhasha Academy and Nidhi Publications, Jammu. He congratulated Roshan Bral Roshan and his wife Ganga Sharma and prayed for their bright future and all success in life.
The Programme was conducted by Rajinder Kumar Ranjha, vice president of the Dogri Bhasha Academy very ably.
