JAMMU, Oct 1: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking ban on black/tinted films on vehicles, Division Bench of High Court comprising Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir and Justice J P Singh modified its earlier order dated September 25, 2012.
After hearing battery of lawyers appearing for the owners of the seized vehicles and Senior AAG Gagan Basotra appearing for the State, Division Bench modified the earlier order and mentioned that instead of DIGs, the concerned police agency/ traffic authority would release the vehicles after taking the undertakings.
