JAMMU, Sept 22: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Dr Hari Dutt Shishu seeking the quashment of circular dated August 14, 2014 issued by Secretary J&K State Board of Technical Education whereby provisional selection list of the candidates for admission in three years diploma courses against left over seats was issued, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today issued notice to Chief Secretary, Secretary, Technical Education Department, Secretary State Board of Technical Education and Secretary State Board of Professional Entrance Examination returnable within one week.
Advocate Rajinder Singh Jamwal appearing for the PIL submitted that the selection process runs parallel and simultaneous to the selection process already initiated by BOPEE through entrance examination as the only authorized competent authority to conduct entrance and select the candidates for the professional courses.
