JAMMU, Feb 20: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Smile Social Youth Club through its President Matloob Saleem Qureshi seeking facilities for organ transplant, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today granted four weeks time to the State counsel for filing progress report.
“Status report has been filed by the Principals of Government Medical Colleges Jammu and Srinagar which reveals that consolidated proposal has already been sent to Government and the matter is pending in the Planning Department”, DB observed.
Division Bench granted four weeks time to file progress report in this regard.
