DB directs DC Kishtwar to file compliance or appear in person

JAMMU, Oct 1: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Bar Association Kishtwar through its President I A Hamal seeking directions to the State Government to immediately ensure the handing over of entire Deputy Commissioner’s office complex for use of District Courts Kishtwar, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice BS Walia today directed the  Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to file the status in terms of letter dated December 27, 2011 issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat failing which he shall appear in person to explain delay and disobedience.
Advocate SS Ahmed appeared for the PIL whereas AAGs PS Chandel and Ehsan Mirza appeared for the State.
