JAMMU, Apr 21: In the Public Interest Litigation filed by Inderjeet Khajuria, president All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association regarding inordinate delay in construction of artificial lake and gandola, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today directed the Divisional Commissioner to file status report.
When this PIL came-up for hearing, AAG Seema Shekhar appearing for the Divisional Commissioner Jammu submitted that progess of ongoing mega projects namely multi-level parking at Bus Stand, Surinsar Water Supply Scheme, Mansar Water Supply Scheme, Industrial Estates Jammu, Legislative Complex at Jammu, development of Tawi River front, conservation and restoration of Mubarak Mandi, construction of Artificial Lake, swerage project, water supply to Jammu from River Chenab, Jammu ropeway project and R-APDRP would be reviewed in a meeting on April 29.
Upon this, Division Bench directed Divisional Commissioner to file status report after the review meeting.
