JAMMU, Nov 20: On the 4th Day of Yuvtarang 2025-26, impressive musical performances as the Western Instrumental Solo, Western Group Song and Western Solo Singing competitions were held at MAM College.
Under the guidance of Dean Students Welfare, Dr Zubair, the events drew remarkable participation from the constituent colleges, filling the venue with energy, rhythm and artistic enthusiasm.
In the Western Instrumental Solo, Antariksh Sharma of GGM Science College secured the first position with an outstanding performance, while the second position was bagged by Sunny Topno from the School of Humanities & Liberal Arts, followed by Sharad Chhetri from MAM College who claimed the third position.
In the Western Group Song category, MAM College impressed the judges and clinched the first position, whereas the team from GCW Gandhi Nagar secured the second position, and SPMR College of Commerce finished in the third place.
In the Western Solo Singing event, Vineet Raina from MAM College emerged as the winner, while the second position resulted in a tie between Tejasvi Verma of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Khushboo Naveen of MAM College. The third position was secured by Urvashi Bharti from GGM Science College.
The jury included Dr Narinder wazir, Dr Jasmeet Kaur and Jagdeep singh
The events were coordinated under the overall supervision of Prof D S Manhas, Dean Student welfare, along with Dr Davinder Kour, Dr Revika Arora and college cultural convenors.
