JAMMU, Feb 23: The fourth day of ‘Yuvtarang’ with Cultural and Literary Events, organized by Office of Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ continued with full zeal and vigour in all the five constituent colleges of CLUJ and were witnessed by large number of students and Faculty of the respective colleges.
The events were held at GGM Science College Jammu, Govt SPMR College of Commerce Jammu, Govt College of Education, GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Government MAM College Jammu.
In Natak (One Act Play) held at GCW Gandhi Nagar, GCW Gandhi Nagar, GGM Science College and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The event was judged by Prof. AnupamaVohra, Associate. DSW, JU; Arushi Thakur and Neeraj Kant (Natrang).
In Gayan, Vadan (Group Song Indian) held at Govt MAM College Jammu, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Govt MAM College and GGM Science College got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. The judgment was made by Brij Mohan, (Cultural Academy) and Suraj Singh (IMFA).
In Nritya (Group Dance Folk) held at Govt SPMR College of Commerce, GGM Science College, GCW Gandhi Nagar and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. The judgment was made by Dr Priya Dutta (IMFA) and Ravi Sharma (Dance Teacher, MHAC Nagbani).
In Orchestra held at Govt SPMR College of Commerce, GGM Science College got the Certificate of Merit. The judgment was made by Sunil Raina (IMFA).
Under Sanrachna, (Creative and Fine Arts) in Cartooning held at Govt. College of Education Jammu, Avleen Kour of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Ruchi Kumari of Govt. College of Education and Saharsh Arora of Govt MAM College got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
In Collage Making held at GCOE, Sanam of GCOE and Tamanna Sharma of GCW Gandhi Nagar got 1st and 2nd prizes respectively whereas the 3rd prize was shared between Vanshika Sharma of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce and Ankit Sharma of GGM Science College.
In Poster Making held at GCOE, Renu Bala of GCOE and Prerna Sharma of Govt. MAM College got first and second prizes and the third prize was shared between Ankit Sharma of GGM Science College and Nisha Dogra of Govt MAM College.
The judgment of Cartooning, Collage and Poster Making was made by Prof Savita Bakshi and Rakesh Sharma(IMFA).
