DAP fully committed to serve J&K people: Azad

DAP leader, G N Azad welcoming new entrants into party fold at Jammu on Saturday.

JAMMU, Nov 26: Former J&K Chief Minister and Chairman of Democratic Azad Party, Ghulam Nabi Azad while admitting a large number of people belonging to different political and social organisation asked them to support his party, for overall development of the Jammu and Kashmir.
Azad expressed his concern over the unemployment faced by youth, steep rise in prices of essential commodities and day today problems of the people, after the J&K state was brought down to the status a Union Territory. He said that his party was fully committed to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of Sarpanchs, Panchs and social / political activists joined the Democratic Azad Party on this occasion.
The prominent among them were, Kuldeep Singh, Om Prakash, Ramesh Sharma all Sarpanchs, Balbir Chand, Balwan Singh, Govind Ram and Mohd Maskeel Ali, all Oanchs, Rakesh Kumar and Ghulam Rasool Wani from Udhampur (Block – Chenani).
Many others from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP also joined the party. They included- Sushma Sharma, a human right activist, Rajesh Verma, Gaurav Jamwal, Vijay Chaudary, Pankaj Verma and Sunil Kumar.
Besides Azad, prominent party leaders present on the occasion included, RS Chib, general secy, Vinod Mishra, Mohd Aslam Goni, former Advocate General; Gourav Chopra,Vvicky Mahajan, Vishal Chopra, Anoop Khajuria, Rajinder Singh and others.
