SAMBA, April 6: Danish Mishra, Co-Incharge Social Media Department and Prabhari Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha Seat BJP J&K today visited Bain Glar area of Samba Constituency and listened to people’s grievances.
The locals apprised the senior BJP leader about the problems which they were confronting since long. They raised the particular issue of Shani Dev Temple constructed by them around 200 meters away from the road in Glar village. It was divulged that the place is near a pond where there is an ancient Peepal tree revered as very auspicious by the local population.
“Locals perform last rites and other rituals there like Pind Dan, Asthi Visarjan, Jal Chadhana, etc for the last many years”, they said and demanded concrete base/covering around the Peepal tree, renovation/ paintings in the Shani Dev Temple besides construction of a road leading to the place as the one which is existing is in shambles and good for nothing. The locals also demanded proper sitting arrangement for the people in and around the temple.
Danish assured the people of the area that he will take up their issue with authorities concerned and ensure early redressal of their demands. He said that BJP is committed to provide amenities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The senior BJP leader said that Modi Government at the Centre is working day and night to ensure that basic amenities are provided to the people in every nook and corner of J&K. He appealed the people to overwhelmingly support the endeavours of Modi Government for the overall development of J&K.
Ram Murti, Janak Raj- Panch of Ward No 9, Parladh Sharma, Ramesh Chander, Dayal Chand and Ex Sarpanch Ram Paul Sharma were also present.
