SAMBA, Apr 6: The Corps of 161 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Bangladeshi national near the border village of Manguchak here today.
The apprehended person was identified as Mohammad Siraj, son of Mohammad Lakto, a resident of Madhya Jaianagar District Borisal Bangladesh. A bag was recovered from his possession, which contains mirror, oil, soap and other items.
Later, BSF handed over the Bangladeshi national to Rajpura Border Outpost of Samba Police for questioning.
However, a case was also registered against the Bangladeshi national and investigation started to ascertain his intentions of roaming near border area here.
