Srinagar, Nov 16: As the Government announced incentives to the NHM employees for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today expressed its anguish over what it termed as a step-motherly treatment towards the regular employees of the health department.
Dr Suhail Naik, President DAK said that the Government has side-lined the regular employees of the Health Department when it comes to granting incentives for covid health care services.
“Government has bifurcated the incentive scheme merely to appease few and demoralise the major lot,” he said.
DAK has requested the LG of J&K Manoj Sinha, Advisor, RK Bhatnagar and Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education, Atal Dullo to stresses for immediate corrigendum of the said order so that COVID health care incentives are extended to all Regular Health Department employees as per the cadre.
