JAMMU, Oct 1: Dean Academic Affairs Prof Iqbal Parwez and Registrar Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri, visited BGSB College of Nursing Kishtwar and interacted with the students, faculty and staff of the college.
Both were apprised about various activities of the college and facilities available to the students of the college like laboratories, library, hostel, etc.
Prof Iqbal Parwez issued instructions to the college administration to organise debates, cultural and various other educational programmes in the college for the exposure of the students. He ensured the students that every necessary measure would be taken up to provide them world class exposure in the field of Nursing education. He advised the faculty to provide up to date information to the students and prepare them for competitive job market.
Register of the University Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri took stock of the infrastructural requirements of the college and assured them of all possible assistance in this regard. Talking to the students and staff, he said that the University shall provide all such facilitate to develop BGSB College of Nursing Kishtwar as a Model college of the region in the field of Nursing education and training.
Both the officers were accompanied by the Principal and other officials of the college.
