CWA urges people to abide by PM’s appeal

JAMMU, Mar 28: Consumer Welfare Association (CWA) today appealed all the citizens of India, UTs of J&K and Ladakh to strictly abide by the appeal of Prime Minister (PM), Narendra Modi and remain in their homes to contain the spread of novel COVID-19.
It was stated by the association president SK Gupta during the telephonic meeting of its members here.
CWA appreciated the steps being taken by the Government to ensure supply of essential commodities to the residents of J&K for sustenance during this lockdown period.
The Association requested all the departments concerned to ensure that the dealers didn’t overcharge from the consumers. For this, they (officials) need to visit the markets regularly.
They appreciated the role of Police, doctors and paramedical staff who have been working hard to contain the spread of novel Coronavirus.
