CVC, IAS probationers call on CM

SRINAGAR, June 5: Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC), P L Gupta called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today.
During the meeting, he briefed the Chief Minister about the activities of the Organization and its future plans.
Vigilance Commissioner (VC), Gazanffar Hussain was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister asked the CVC and VC to make their organization much more vibrant to become an important anti-graft institution in the State.
A batch of IAS probationers of 2017 who have been allotted J&K cadre also met the Chief Minister.
These probationers have joined the State last month and are undergoing State specific training at the Institute of Management, Public Administration & Rural Development (IMPARD).
During the interaction, the Chief Minister hoped that with the joining of more young boys and girls into the administrative hierarchy of the State, governance delivery system would further improve and enhance, thereby giving its people much more relief.
She said Jammu & Kashmir, given the multidimensional challenges it is faced with, provides an ideal work atmosphere to a civil servant with which he or she can work anywhere in the country with excellence and eminence.
Director General, IMPARD, Lokesh Jha was present on the occasion.
