Srinagar, June 26: Curfew that was imposed in apple township of Sopore in North Kashmir after the killing of a youth in police firing on Monday was lifted today.
The curfew was imposed on Monday after a youth, Arshid Ahmad Shah, was killed and four others were wounded when security forces opened fire to disperse the demonstrators who were protesting immediately after 20-hour-long fierce gun-battle came to end at Krankshivan in which a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) foreign militant Mehmood Bhai was killed and a local militant was arrested.
