Our Prime Minister on a visit to the USA shall be observing Navratra fasts for nine days during which time he virtually takes nothing except some fresh lime juice.
The Americans are astonished as well as surprised that the PM of India cannot join in any of the official banquets or lunches and dinners during the days of his visit which the host country otherwise was going to arrange.
The times have changed for the better as people all over the world have started knowing the original ancient culture of abstinence and fasts of India and to control one’s anger and senses.
