JAMMU, June 4: J&K Cultural Academy orgainsed a Dogri mushaira at Dhok Waziran, Nagotra in Panchayat Ghar, today.
The programme started with welcome address by Dr Chanchal Sharma, Assistant Editor of the Academy. Raman Wazir, Sarpanch was the chief guest whereas Kamal Singh, chairman was guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Wazir thanked the Academy for holding such mushaira for the poor poets of the area and hoped such activities will continue in future also.
Those who recited their poems were Puran Chand, Ashok Sharma, Ram Pual, Narayan Dutt, Bishan Dass, Vishal Dogra, Janak Raj Bhagat, Raj Bhagat, Ram Kumar Bhagat, Ram Krishan, Subash Sumbrian, Prem Chand, Chander Kanta, Anu Rani and Ram Raj Sharma.
Dr Chanchal Sharma, conducted the proceedings of the programme which was organised under the supervision of Ashok Gupta.
