Srinagar, May 18: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Chancellor, Dr. Srikumar Banerjee today arrived here for interaction with the top State dignitaries and faculty and students of the University.
During his four-day visit, Dr. Banerjee would meet the Governor, NN Vohra and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.
He will also interact with the senior administrative officers and staff, faculty and students of the University. Dr. Banerjee will also review the ongoing construction work of the University at its designated campus at Ganderbal. Dr. Banerjee will also take stock of the University developments on academic front since his last visit.
On his arrival here, CUK officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din and Registrar, Prof. Mohammad Afzal Zargar met the Chancellor and briefed him about the functioning of the University and various developments and progress achieved by the varsity in the field of academics and building up of infrastructure. During the meeting, the progress with regard to the development of the campus was discussed.
