CSC set up on House Panel report

SRINAGAR, Sept 7: Government today constituted Cabinet Sub-Committee to deliberate on the recommendations of the House Committee with regard to SRO-105 dated March 31, 2016.
Vide this SRO, the Government had made rules for regulating the grant of various forms of mineral concessions in respect of minor minerals and storage, transportation of minerals and prevention of illegal mining in the State.
According to the order issued by Gazzanfer Hussain, Commissioner Secretary to Government, General Administration Department, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs, Chander Prakash, Minister for Industries and Commerce, Abdul Haq Khan, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Law and Justice, Ch Lal Singh, Minister for Forest and Sham Lal Choudhary, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control are the members of the Cabinet Sub-Committee while as Haseeb A Drabu, Minister for Finance is the convenor.
The Committee has been asked to submit report by end of November 2016.
