JAMMU, Feb 7: An unidentified male body whose face and stomach was crushed badly, was found today at National Highway near Panjgrian in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, as the face of the person was badly crushed, it has become difficult to certain his identify. However, on right arm of the person there is a tattoo mark –‘BN’.
He said the dead body of the man (aged about 25-30) was spotted by flying squad of Nagrota police at about 7:30 am, after which the body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and postmortem.
The Nagrota police have registered a case and started inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
