NEW DELHI, Aug 6: Crude palm oil prices were up by 0.39 per cent to Rs 513.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions amid pick-up in domestic demand and limited arrivals from producing regions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in August moved up by Rs 2, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 513.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 170 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in September edged up by Rs 1.60, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 503.50 per 10 kg in 187 lots.
Analysts said pick-up in demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to the rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
