NEW DELHI, Mar 13: Crude palm oil prices rose by 0.12 per cent to Rs 599.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions driven by rising demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in March rose by 70 paise, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 599.70 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 42 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in April edged up by 50 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 598.80 per 10 kg in 47 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by speculators following pick-up in demand in the spot market helped crude palm oil prices to trade higher at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
