NEW DELHI, Apr 3: Continued its rising streak for the fourth straight session, crude palm oil rose further by 0.46 per cent to Rs 569 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators engaged in enlarging positions on rising spot market demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April added Rs 2.60, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 569 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 161 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in May gained Rs 1.20, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 561.20 per 10 kg in 45 lots.
Analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to a rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
