RAMBAN, Aug 2: CRPF’s 166 Battalion organized Sainik Sammelan at Dett HQ/166 Banihal.
Punit Kumar Kauldhar Commandant 166 Battalion addressed the Sammelan. The event commenced with CRPF song followed by the address by Commandant 166 Battalion to unit personnel to abreast them with latest welfare schemes/benefits for the force personnel and scholarship schemes to wards of CRPF personnel.
He also sensitize the troops with latest security scenario prevailed in the region. He appreciated the hard work and dedication of the troops engaged in security of NH44 on Banihal axis, and the duties performed by troops during SANJY-22 Yatra at Lambar ground, Banihal.
He also interacted with jawans regarding current suicidal incidents in forces. On this issue, he has also motivated them to sort out domestic issues if any with positive approach and refrain themselves from taking any wrong/extreme step.
He also enquired from jawans of their administrative and logistics issues and ensured them that all efforts are being made to timely sort out their any grievances.
He also distributed prizes to all unit personnel who have done exemplary works in operational and administrative fields.
Suresh Kumar Second in Command (Adm), Naveen Kumar Yadav, Second in Command (Ops), Shivnandan Singh, Deputy Commandant, Dr Rohit Lakhnotra (SMO), Rishipaul Singh Assistant Commandant, Vinod Chader Pant Assistant Commandant, Dharmender Kumar Assistant Commandant and Alghar Swamy Assistant Commandant were also present along with SOs and jawans in the Sainik Sammelan.
