Srinagar, Feb 16: Paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today said it have sent a group of students from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour.
A spokesman of the CRPF said its 3rd Battalion has sent 25 students in the age group of 14 to 17 yrs from various Government schools of Bandipora along with two teachers and one CRPF officer.
“The group will be going to Delhi and Lucknow. They will be visiting various historical places and monuments at Delhi and Lucknow for five days, besides meeting some dignitaries,” he said.
The spokesman said the group will perform all the journeys by air from Srinagar to Lucknow and back. “The flagging off ceremony of the tour was held at Unit Headquarter of 3rd Battalion,” he added.
