SRINAGAR, Mar 6: Under CPG Programme, Central Reserve Police
Force (CRPF), Srinagar Ops Sector flagged off an historical study tour of Kashmiri children at DPL Anantnag, here today.
In this study tour, 70 students including 36 girls from Valley will visit various historical places outside the State. Students will get the opportunity to visit Amritsar, Delhi, Jaipur, Ajmer and Agra. The tour will provide the students an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
S S Sandhu, IGP (Ops) Kashmir, CRPF, formally flagged off the tour, which has been jointly organized by 18/40 and 179 Bn of CRPF in order to win confidence of the people and create sense of security among the people of Valley.
On this occasion, officials of district Anantnag, CRPF, State Police and other prominent personalities from Anantnag were also present.
