JAMMU, Mar 6: J&K Bank organized camps in Udhampur wherein KCCs were distributed among the participants. The beneficiaries belonged to the far flung areas of Latti and Sudh Mahadev in Udhampur district.
The camp was attended by farmers, traders besides officials of the Agriculture Department. The Bank’s Cluster Head Udhampur Iqbal Singh highlighted the benefits of Kissan Cash Credit and the other initiatives taken by J&K Bank.
Out of the 1023 KCC cases sanctioned by the business unit Latti, 120 cards were distributed on spot to the beneficiaries, while as at business unit Sudh Mahadev 70 cards were distributed out of the 793 sanctioned cases.
Head B U Latti, Mohit Gupta, Head B U Sudh Mahadev Virender Sharma and Agriculture Extension Officer, Zone Latti Gopal Krishan Sharma were also present on the occasions.
