CRPF man dies, ASI injured in road mishap

Srinagar, Sept 3: A Central Reserve Police Force jawan died and two others including a civilian were injured in a road mishap at Wasun area of Ganderbal in Central Kashmir today.
Police said a speedy car (Alto- JK01R-5208) hit two CRPF men of 181 battalion and a pedestrian at Wasun in Kangan. “The CRPF men were standing near one of their vehicles which had suffered some technical snag and their other colleagues were trying to fix the problem when the incident occurred”, police said.
All the injured were shifted to SKIMS where CRPF constable Prakash Singh of Kathua succumbed to injuries.
The other two injured are ASI S Dobey and Mushtaq Munshi of Binhama Ganderbal.
Police has registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
