CRPF hands over Basketball Court to Bandipora school

Srinagar, Mar 3: Para-military Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today handed over a newly constructed Basketball Court and Accessories to a Higher Secondary School in Kaloosa area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A CRPF spokesman said the event was presided over by Deputy Inspector General, CRPF, R K Yadav. On the occasion, the DIG CRPF said: “We are constantly endeavouring towards improving sports facilities in Kashmir through our Civic Action Programs, so that activities of sports can be promoted among youths. This will certainly provide them firsthand opportunity to nurture their sports potential.”
He said earlier the CRPF had conducted “Bharat Darshan” tour for 25 children of Bandipora district. “We, as peacekeepers are always committed to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir, particularly with youths and will continue to endeavour for their better future in whatever way we can.”
