JAMMU, Feb 17: Extending a helping hand to the flood hit people, CRPF distributed blankets among the affected families at village Sum, Lakshmipur, Malkechuk and Top Manhasa in Jammu district.
The help was provided by 76th and 38th Battalion of CRPF under Civic Action Programme. In this connection, a function was organized wherein SSP Jammu Uttam Chand distributed blankets in presence of Tehsildar Chowdhary Din Mohammad and others.
The function was organized under the supervision of Vikram Singh Thakur, Commandant 76 Bn CRPF. Saroj Sihaj and Jangsheer, Dy Comdts of 76 Bn and Dr Supinder Singh, Medical Officer 76 Bn, S S Bali and J P Sharma, Dy Ccomdts of the 38th Bn, were also present on the occasion.
