RAMBAN, May 16: SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar here today chaired a meeting to review crime cases under investigation.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP Ramban, SDPO Gool, SDPO Banihal, Dy.SP Headquarters Ramban, Dy.SP DAR, DPL Ramban, SHOs and IC/PPs of all Police Stations and Police Posts of the district.
Discussions were held on old and new cases especially those related to crime against women and children.
Directions were given for quality investigation and trial follow-up. Emphasis was on leveraging technology for effective investigation and trial.
NDPS Act/ULAP cases were discussed with a focus on linkages.
Supervisory directions were issued on the spot. Tracing missing persons, arresting absconders, executing NBWs and preventive measures were also discussed. Participants were directed to intensify patrolling, establish special Nakas and monitor anti-social elements.
