SAMBA, Sept 6: In order to mitigate the sufferings of travelers plying on National Highway which has deep pits resulting into fatal road accidents, Samba Police led by Inspector Sanjeev Singh Chib, SHO P/S Samba in collaboration with media group and local youths of Samba town, known as Crime Patrol Samba, repaired stretch of National Highway near Maheshwar, Buchdi and Daini Samba.
During repair of NHW, the tube under repair work was kept closed and the other tube was used for traffic on both the ways. About 50 volunteers of Crime Patrol Samba joined hands with Samba Police for repair works. Dr Devinder Manyal, MLA Samba also visited the spot to check repair work and appreciated all the volunteers for their initiative for a noble cause.
The public of the area have appreciated the initiative taken Samba Police and Crime patrol Samba.
