JAMMU, June 4: The State Government has accorded sanction for creation of 20 posts of Head Assistants by corresponding reduction of 35 posts of Senior Assistance in the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.
Besides, the Government also sanctioned an increase in the deputation reserve from 15 percent to 25 percent of the duty posts each for Section Officers, Senior Stenographers, Head Assistants, Junior Stenographers, Sr Assistants and Jr Assistants of the Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.
With this, the previous Government order regarding freezing of 24 posts of Jr Assistants in the Secretariat Service is deemed to have been revoked ab-initio.
