This has reference to the news item ‘Pak must crackdown on terror’ DE Mar 4.
The warning issued by the Congressman Ed Royce should serve as a wake up call for the Pak Government. If Pakistan ignores the calls for restraining militants and dismantaling their camps, it may have to pay a heavy price for it. The world has by now recognised that Pakistan is the epicentre of terrorism and it exports it to various countries, especially to India without any hindrance. The world has become a dangerous place to live in courtesy the mushrooming of militant outfits in the world. Pakistan is the main sponsor of these outfits. India has been repeatedly asking the world leaders to recognise the threat, and take action against Pakistan, but no one listen to India’s concern.
Unless world unites against terrorism, and leave their personal interests, the monster of terrorism is going to grow further. Pakistan is slow to recognise the threat of terrorism to world peace. It is quite ironical that being herself hit by terrorism, it suppports militancy in Kashmir financially, militarily and morally.
The world must now exert pressure on Pakistan to dimantle terrorism producing factories.
