KISHTWAR, Mar 27: A deputation of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union led by its Chairman Joginder Bhandari called on the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar G N Balwan and discussed various demands related to the starting of Hydroelectric Projects.
The deputation urged to resume work on the Rattle Power project Drabshalla.
The Deputy Commissioner told the deputation that Government is trying its best to start work on Kawar hydroelectric project as soon as possible so that the unemployed skilled youths could get employment opportunity.
The Deputy Commissioner also said that a transparency was being made into the preparation of ration cards and deserving families shall be brought into the BPL category for which he has deployed the Revenue officials to submit their report as soon as possible.
Others in the deputation were Anil Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Jaffar Butt, S Satpal Singh etc.
