Court rejects bail of job racket kingpin

JAMMU, Jan 29: Sub-Judge Jammu Kusoom Pandita has rejected the bail application of Ajay Bali, son of Gopal Krishan of Sarika Vihar Roop Nagar, an alleged kingpin of fake job racket.
After hearing Senior PO Puja Nijohn for the State, court observed, “perusal of police report brings to fore that accused has allegedly committed offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC”.
“The accused took hefty amount from different people including the complainant for providing employment to their wards and issued the orders in their favour. When they went for joining against their posts, they found that orders were fake and when they inquired from the accused/applicant and asked him to return their amount he did not returned the same”, the court observed.
“The accused has allegedly acted in a manner which has caused mental agony to the complainant as well as other people who paid their hard earned money to the accused for getting employment for their wards”, the court said, adding “recoveries are yet to be affected and co-accused are yet to be arrested”.
Accordingly, court rejected the bail application.
