JAMMU, June 10: In the much publicized Bakra murder case, Principal Sessions Judge Jammu, R S Jain today issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Inspector Naveen Angral, SHO Police Station Trikuta Nagar and also Investigating Officer of the case.
While issuing warrants against SHO, Court observed, “it is apparent that Investigating Officer has intentionally not appeared in the court and Public Prosecutor submits that warrants of arrest be issued against him whereas Special Public Prosecutor submits that his salary be stopped”.
“Stopping of salary at this stage is not to be considered. However, non-bailable arrest warrants against Inspector Naveen Anral are issued with the directions that warrants be executed through the SSP or officiating SP Jammu”, the court said and issued directions for producing IO on June 12.
