JAMMU, Nov 11: Principal Sessions Judge Poonch, Jaffer Hussain Beigh today rejected the bail application of Abdul Hai, son of Annayat Ullah of Poonch, who was facing trial in murder of his daughter-in-law.
While rejecting the bail application of the accused, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “the accused is facing trial for commission of murder of his daughter-in-law and also for causing disappearance of evidence of offence by throwing  the dead body in the nallah for which the case was registered at Police Station Mendhar on January 4, 2014”.
“Charge for commission  of offence under Sections 302, 201 and 34 RPC was framed against the accused vide court order dated 11.6.2014. The prosecution is leading its evidence. The accused has not placed on record any certificate with regard to his age or sickness but has admitted in the application that he was sent for medical examination by a super specialist on the directions of this court”, Principal Sessions Judge said.
“Without placing any record of any prescription with the bail application the accused has simply stated that the report has been annexed with the main file. So the plea of the accused for his being old age and infirm has been pleaded by him in the casual manner”, the court said while rejecting the bail application.
