JAMMU, Jan 12: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu, R S Jain today rejected the bail application of Deepak Kumar, who was facing trial in the much publicized Sanjay Kumar alias Bakra murder case.
After hearing Special Public Prosecutor RK Kotwal appearing for the State, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “the court is of the considered view that the severity and degree of punishment would be at higher side if the allegations leveled against the accused are proved to be true”, adding “the allegations leveled against the accused are very serious of nature and against the society”.
With these observations, court dismissed the bail application.
