UDHAMPUR, July 22: A young couple was injured when their motorcycle was hit by a Tipper on the National Highway, near Manthal, here today.
The injured were identified as Rakshit Sharma (31), son of Ravinder Nath of Thana Mandi and his 23-year old wife Simran Sharma. They were travelling on their motorcycle JK2BS-1988, which was hit by a Tipper (JK02BK-8330) resulting into serious injuries to both of them.
Locals and police took them to PHC where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their serious injuries.
