RAMBAN, May 1: The Gool police today arrested a couple and recovered 2 kg of charas from their residence.
“On specific information, a police party led by SHO police station Gool along with Magistrate, conducted search of the house of Mohd Saleem Shan son of Abdul Rashid Shan and his wife, Zarifa, at Zallas (Gool) and recovered 2 kg of charas”, a police official said.
He said that the couple has been arrested and the consignment seized while a case FIR No 35 of 2018 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at police station Gool and further investigation taken up.
The arrest and recovery was made by SHO, police station Gool, Inspector Javed Ahmed, under the supervision of Deputy SP, Gool, Mohd Ameen Bhat and Additional SP, Ramban, Sanjay Parihar.
