JAMMU, Aug 17: RS Pura police has registered counter First Information Reports (FIRs) against former Minister of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Panch of Congress party.
As per police sources, former Minister of BJP Sham Choudhary and Panch of Congress party Sushil had some altercation over on issue, which is being ascertained by the police, in Chakroi area, here.
Both–former Minister and Panch lodged complaints against each other at Police Station RS Pura.
Acting over the complaints, counter FIRs have been registered against former Minister and Panch at RS Pura Police Station and investigation initiated.
However, the supporters of Panch assembled outside Police Post Chakroi and staged protest. They demanded action against the former Minister.
Later, police team rushed to the spot and pacified the protestors assuring fair probe into the incident.
