Councillor starts lane-drain works at Apna Vihar

JAMMU, Sept 1: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Pritam Singh started construction works of land-drain and bathroom complex at Cremation Ground of Apna Vihar Extension area in Ward 55 with an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakh, here today.
Councillor Pritam Singh while addressing the media appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by the department within the Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastics, polythene in their routine work and don’t throw debris, garbage filth etc in the public drains and lanes to make Jammu as neat, clean and beautiful city.
Local residents including Kamal Choudhary, Rajinder Singh, Puran Kundal, Neeraj Kumar, Ram Singh Bhagat and many other were present during the event.
