Coriander, chilli decline on sluggish demand

NEW DELHI, June 2: Coriander and chilli prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today owing to a fall in demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks position.
Coriander and chilli prices drifted lower by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 5,900-12,100 and Rs 5,800-14,800 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said a fall in demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly pulled down coriander and chilli prices.
