NEW DELHI, Mar 23: Copper and nickel prices rose by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metals market today on pick-up in industrial demand and reports a firming global trend.
Traders said besides pick up in industrial demand, reports of a firming global trend mainly strengthened copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4×4) gained Rs 2 each to Rs 439 and Rs 1,062-1,065 per kg, respectively.
The following are metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 125-131, nickel plate (4×4) 1,062-1,065, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 439, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 146, lead imported 144, aluminium ingots 142, sheet cutting 143, aluminium wire scrap 146 and aluminium utensils scrap 142. (PTI)
