JAMMU, May 30: A police cop has been suspended for allegedly indulging in selling drugs among the youth the video of which also went viral on social media.
As per police sources, a police cop identified as constable Mudassir, a resident of District Kishtwar and posted in District Doda was caught on the camera while selling drugs among the youth. The video of the cop selling drugs went viral on social media.

While taking cognizance, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Shabir Malik has immediately suspended the cop and directed for registration of case against the cop.
SSP Malik told the EXCELSIOR that the cop seen in the video has been suspended. The cop was unauthorized absent from the duty since past four days, he said, adding that a case under relevant sections has been registered against the cop at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
“The cop is still at large and will be arrested soon”, SSP asserted.
