SRINAGAR, July 3: A policeman was shot at and injured by militants today in Bijbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Militants fired upon a cop, Firdous Ahmad in Bijbehara. He received a bullet wound and was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was later shifted to 92-Base hospital in Srinagar.
The area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
