JAMMU, July 29: A cop was hospitalised after receiving bullet wound while cleaning his service weapon in District Police Lines (DPL) here today.
As per police sources, a SgCt of IRP 18th Battalion namely Rangeel Singh received bullet wound in his leg while cleaning his service weapon in DPL here.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable when last reports came in.
A case FIR Number 212/2021 under Sections 336 and 337 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
